The International Journal of Iranian Studies
Ancient Iranian Studies is the official journal of Tissaphernes Archaeological Research Group. The journal was established by Dr. Shahin AryamaneshAncient Iranian Studies is a peer reviewed journal, publishing high-quality, original research. The journal covering studies on the cultural and civilization of pre-Islamic Persia in its broadest sense. Ancient Iranian Studies publishes on Persian Studies, including archaeology, numismatics, religion, ancient history, linguistics, epigraphy,  and history of art of ancient Iran, as well as on cultural exchanges and relations between Iran and its neighbours.

Language: articles can be submitted in English, or Persian

Ancient Iranian Studies is committed to immediate and real open access for academic work. All the original articles, technical briefs and review papers published in this journal are free to access immediately from the date of publication. There are no author charges (commonly known as APCs) prior to publication, and no charge for any reader to download articles and reviews for their own scholarly use.

The non-commercial use of the article will be governed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License as currently displayed on (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/), except that sections 2 through 8 below will apply in this respect and prevail over all conflicting provisions of such license model. Ancient Iranian Studies is a 100% free journal for both authors and readers and all accepted papers are published in the journal without any publication fee.

 

Methods of journal’s finance and revenue sources
Ancient Iranian Studies does not charge a submission fee. All costs are paid by the Tissaphernes Archaeological Research Group. Article publication fees, which are financed by the Tissaphernes Archaeological Research Group, are the only source of income used to support administrative and printing costs.

 
 
Archiving
Ancient Iranian Studies is archived and indexed in the National Library of Iran and the websites of Mageiran, Google Scholar, and ....
Ancient Iranian Studies has a data repository at https://www.sinaweb.net/.
All authors at Ancient Iranian Studies can archive published manuscripts on their own web pages, corporate web pages, and various repositories of their boilerplate subjects. Authors are encouraged to deposit the final published PDF.
The PDF version of all articles is online and available to readers on the journal website. The backup copy of the articles is kept on the computer of the journal office.
The main information and abstracts of the articles published in the journal are indexed in several databases.
All authors can archive their articles immediately after publication on the journal's website, in their personal system or on their institution's website.

 

Advertising
Ancient Iranian Studies journal does not allow any sort of advertisement on the journal pages.

Please note that no articles will be accepted without reviewing and going through all the admission process. There isn't absolutely Fast Publication in this journal, and such a request by the authors will lead to the rejection of the article.

Die Zeitschrift befasst sich mit Studien über die Kultur und Zivilisation des vorislamischen Persiens im weitesten Sinne. Ancient Iranian Studies veröffentlicht Studien über Persien, einschließlich Archäologie, Alte Geschichte, Linguistik, Religion, Epigrafik, Numismatik und Kunstgeschichte des alten Iran, sowie über den kulturellen Austausch und die Beziehungen zwischen dem Iran und seinen Nachbarländern.

Ancient Iranian Studies publie des articles sur les études persanes, notamment sur l'archéologie, l'histoire ancienne, la linguistique, la religion, l'épigraphie, la numismatique et l'histoire de l'art de l'Iran ancien, ainsi que sur les échanges culturels et les relations entre l'Iran et ses voisins.
